Church History

Eldoret Happy Church had its humble beginnings at Eldoret Cinema in June 1991.

The ministry was started by Rev. Boniface N. Runji and his wife, Pastor Catherine W. N. Runji.

They are both involved in regular employment in addition to the church work.

Evangilistic and discipleship strategies were put in place which have seen the church grow from about ten (10) people on the first Sunday to over five hundred (500) people today. As the work grew, branches were started in Eldoret town and its environs. Boniface and Catherine directly oversee Eldoret Happy Church (City Centre) and City Harvest Centre (Pioneer Estate).

Eldoret Happy Church is part of the Happy Church Ministries International, member of Kenya Evangelical Alliance. This is a Charismatic/Pentecostal congregation with lively worship.
